Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, Steve Lawrence and Eydie Gorme, Tony Bennett, Shirley Bassey, and Barry Manilow – all the names you know and love from the world of popular music! Celebrate these musical “Icons” at a lively and fun benefit performance on Feb 17th, 2012 at the Aventura Center for the Arts.

Direct from the U.K., celebrated tribute star Jacqui Peters joins South Florida favorite and nationally renowned singer and pianist David McBride to create a magical evening dedicated to these legendary stars. Jacqui and David will take you on a fast-paced and jubilant adventure in tribute to our musical icons, delivering a masterful playlist of hits from here in the U.S. and "across the pond."

Musical Director Phil Hinton, formerly musical director to Dame Shirley Bassey, is joined by his band of incomparable musicians, who will enchant you with authentic, yet skillfully updated arrangements of the greatest music of our time.

Tickets for "Icons" are $40 for premiere seating and $30 for reserved seating. Proceeds benefit the Anita Priest Whispering Angels Memorial Scholarship Fund, benefiting the LGBT students in design and the arts. For more information, visit www.whisperingangelsfoundation.com.
