E-mail Print

In our continuing efforts to keep our Network members informed and well-connected, we at 55+ Magazine are proud to introduce Mike Penn, our new Network Business Development Director.

Mike has had an exciting and rich career in international business and as a financial advisor. Prior joining the 55+ team, he was the Membership Development coordinator for the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches, helping companies to grow their business by joining them with others to learn about and promote each other.

In the course of his work, Mike became involved in Relay for Life, the American Cancer Society's signature fundraiser, and served as Event Chair for Boynton Beach in 2010. This also led to his work on the newly formed The Greater Boynton Beach Foundation, which is dedicated to the advancement of recreation, education and culture in the local community. And he became familiar with the local healthcare community as an active member of the Greater Boynton Beach Chamber of Commerce Healthcare Council and as Community Liaison for Comfort Keepers Home Health. He also worked closely with the Health Care Committee to educate and grow its network of resources. At 55+ Magazine and Network we looking forward having Mike meet with our members and professional colleagues. His talent and professional expertise will contribute to our growth and our mission of sharing knowledge and making connections.

South Florida’s preferred free bilingual senior magazine offers a full directory by county. Information includes community resource organization addresses and phone numbers, as well as hospital and hospices, rehabilitation centers, assisted living facilities, home care, adult day care and other services.

We offer educational courses to the public and healthcare professionals in Florida. The goal is to provide CEUs (continuing education units) to healthcare administrators, nursing home and assisted living facility administrators, nursing professionals and social workers.
55+ Network can help individuals and organizations reach their goals by providing the tools to connect them with the right people and markets.
The Recreational Distribution Division under Fifty Five Plus Lifestyle, with the cooperation of Scoop For Seniors, offers books, games, and videos and musical recordings for activity directors, recreation and creative arts therapists, occupational and rehab therapists, and other caregivers who work with the elderly and/or senior adults -- as well as many other products.
We understand the needs of our South Florida diverse communities and serve them as an all-inclusive magazine. With 13% of the population being part of a minority group, we are sensitive to the needs of all of our readers!
