Did you know that no one can make you sad or happy? You have the power to make yourself happy.

The first thing you’ll want to do is make a ‘Happy List’. This is a list of things that make YOU happy. Try to get at least 10 things on your list and keep in mind that these things are not dependent on anyone else or necessarily based in reality.

For example: the second thing on my Happy List is owning a pyramid! Now at the moment, I don’t have room in my backyard for a pyramid -- and that is exactly the point. It’s not about the practicality. Your Happy List is only based on “how does this make me feel” and when I say “I own a pyramid” it makes me feel regal, joyous and happy. Get the point?

What would make you happy? Is it smelling something, feeling something, doing something, doing nothing? Only you can decide!

One client’s number one was “clean sheets night.” She has 4 children and would have to change 5 beds to make her number one happen. No wonder it makes her happy when it’s done!

One man wrote on his Happy List, “buying my wife roses.” Notice how this is not dependent on how his wife receives the roses, only on how he feels buying the roses.

Would you consider sharing your Happy List with me? I’d love to know what you will do/feel/see to make yourself happy!
