Assisted Living, Elder care Community tours and visits.

Many people like to just “show up” at an Assisted Living community without an appointment. These people are called “show-uppers.” This is a NO! NO!

There are many reasons why this is NOT a good idea. The most important one is time. If you show up for a tour at an Assisted Living Facility or Alzheimer’s Dementia Special Memory Care units without an appointment, there may be another family touring and you may have to wait a long time until they can get to you.

Keep in mind that good Long Term Care communities in southeast Florida do take time with each family. You would want this same treatment for you and your family as well. So, don’t be a “SHOW-UPPER!”

Another important reason you should make an appointment to tour any Long Term Care Facility such a Nursing Home, Skilled Nursing facility, Assisted Living or Alzheimer’s Dementia Special Memory Care locked secured unit is the fact that you want to tour the community with the Sales or Marketing Representative, not a receptionist or office worker as a fill in. While they may be able to show you around, they are not going to be able to answer all of your questions and give you the personal attention that you will require in making this important decision.

So take your time, and call one of our local counselors near you to help you, free of charge to set up an appointment to tour your Long Term Care Facility. Our counselors specialize in a specific area in Broward, Dade and Palm Beach counties in South Florida. PCC advocates for quality care. All facilities we represent are licensed and certified with the State of Florida Agency for Health Care Administration.
